

Home Delivery Coordinator
We are hiring a Part time (25 hours/week) Home Delivery Coordinator.
Position Summary: Manage the daily home delivery program activities, ensuring that homebound clients have access to supplemental groceries. This position reports to the Program Director. Facility hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 – 1:00, however this position offers flexibility to also include occasional afternoon and/or Saturday distributions.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain food delivery program including initial paperwork, menu, and delivery schedules. Includes all delivery forms, and order forms. Managing delivery driver and other case managers.
Develop plan for recruitment, including where you will recruit and advertise, include what methods you will use and frequency. For example, contact senior living apartments, information on website, social media, and other advertising.
Develop a list of potential items for purchase such as dietary items like Ensure, cleaning products, depends, socks, toiletries (homeless or delivery), etc.
Ongoing management of weekly delivery schedules and food menu for all enrolled clients. Coordination with Pantry Manager weekly on food items and choice options provided for clients.
Case management for all clients to be provided monthly. Case management performed by phone by coordinator and other case workers, includes speaking to the client about their current circumstances, seeing where there are gaps in service and providing resources as needed. All case management to be logged on charity tracker in real time as service occurs. Capacity of this program is approximately 150 participants each month. Maintain accurate tracking of clients and client services on grant required spreadsheets.
Requirements:

High School graduate, some college preferred. Social work background preferred (BSW or MSW) but not required.

Customer service experience a plus.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate information clearly (both written and oral).

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Proficiency in multiple computer and database systems including but not limited to MS Office Word, Excel.

Ability to work as a team member, supporting events and initiatives.
