Home Delivery Coordinator
Arlington Charities is hiring a part-time (22 hours/week) Home Delivery Coordinator. Position Summary: Manage the daily home delivery program activities, ensuring that homebound clients have access to supplemental groceries. This position reports to the Program Director.
Responsibilities include:

Current program capacity is around 300 families and families receive one delivery per month. This position works with the home delivery bilingual assistant to contact each family for their order and provide limited case management which includes speaking to the clients about their current circumstances and providing resources as needed. All case management to be logged in charity tracker case management software in real time as service occurs.

Manage client intake forms, menu, and coordinator with delivery driver on routes and schedules.

Develop a list of potential menu items for families and coordinate with Operations Manager for purchase. (Such as dietary items like Ensure, cleaning products, depends, socks, toiletries, etc.)

Manage recruitment of new clients. For example, contact senior living apartments, information on website, social media, and other advertising.

Work alongside property managers for senior site deliveries.
Requirements:

High School graduate, some college preferred. Social Work background preferred (BSW or MSW) but not required, or other customer service experience.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate information clearly (both written and oral).

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Proficiency in multiple computer and database systems including but not limited to MS Office Word, Excel.

Ability to work as a team member, supporting events and initiatives.

Professional appearance and demeanor.
Facility hours are Mon.-Thurs 8:30-2:00 (closed Fridays). Occasional Saturday hours for agency-wide food distributions beyond home delivery (only a few times a year).

Social Media/Marketing Assistant

Reporting to and in partnership with the CEO/Executive Director and Marketing coordinator, the Social Media/Marketing assistant will develop a robust social media and email marketing campaign that is engaging and ultimately increases organizational support. This position may work closely with non-profit organizations, community partners, media, and government agencies to promote food insecurity programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:

Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.

Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote organization on various social media.

Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.

Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.

Support marketing team at live and online events/photo/video content shoots.

Perform social media marketing research.

Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms.
-
Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
-
Create compelling graphics to share across social channels.
-
Write social media captions that speak to target audience.
-
Help create and edit short-form videos.
-
Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.

Ensure brand message is consistent.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or significant course work in digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism.

1 - 2 years’ experience in digital marketing/social media marketing preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
-
Excellent internet research skills.
-
Mastery of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, Snap and Google+ .

Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and other analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance.

Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software.
Facility hours are Mon – Thur 8:30-2:00. Position requires 10-12 hr/week with flexibility to arrange hours within that range. Occasional off hours supporting special events and community activities.
